The Middle TN Chapter was formed in 1960, and officially recognized as a TROA Chapter in 1961. The Chapter operates as an Affiliate of the National MOAA Organization. Officers who are on active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, and former commissioned officers and warrant officers of the following uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are eligible for membership in the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America.
